• After considering considering your mitigation plea as well as any arguments made by the Prosecution in relation to the issue of sentencing, the Court will impose a sentence against you.
  • The Court’s aim is to find a sentence that will fit both the offence and the offender i.e. the sentence should proportionately and appropriately reflect the seriousness of the offence and your level of culpability.

    Well to me in these times has become somewhat bullshit.As i find that there were many instances that the powers of sentencing did not either fit the crime or the person.

    So its either judges who need to get that noted or they need to understand that process better.
